Weekly Challenge — Official Rules

Last updated 3 October 2026

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. The challenge is free.

1. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older at the time of entry. Entrants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, and a parent or legal guardian must confirm by email before any prize is awarded to a winner under 18.

Employees of Rando.gg and their immediate families are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

2. How to enter

Play the game named on the challenge page, record a video of yourself playing it, post that video publicly on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube tagged #randogg and #contest, then submit the link to the post using the form on the challenge page.

Entries must be recorded on rando.gg/record. That page displays the Rando.gg name above the game, so a recording of it shows the source of the game without further effort. A video filmed anywhere else — including on the game publisher’s own site, or elsewhere on Rando.gg — is not eligible. “Rando.gg” must also be said aloud in the video or written in the post’s caption.

Your post must remain public until winners are announced. A video that is deleted or made private before judging cannot be judged and will be disqualified. You may enter more than once with different videos, but may win at most one prize per round.

3. Entry period

Each round opens on Monday and closes at the time shown by the countdown on the challenge page. Entries received after that time are entered into the following round.

4. How winners are chosen

Top prize — highest score. Awarded to the entrant whose video shows the highest verifiable score on that round’s game. The score must be visible on screen in the video. Ties are broken by earliest submission. This is a contest of skill; chance plays no part in it.

Second prize — most viewed. Awarded to the entry whose post has the highest public view count on its own platform at the moment the round closes, as displayed by that platform. Ties are broken by earliest submission. View counts are read once, at closing; later changes do not alter the result. Views that we judge to have been bought or inflated by automated means are disqualified.

Entries that are faked, edited to misrepresent a score, or that contain content violating the host platform’s rules are disqualified.

5. Prizes

Top prize: $100. Second prize: $50. Prizes are awarded as digital gift codes delivered by email. No cash alternative and no substitution except by us, where we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.

6. Winner notification

Winners are contacted at the email address given on their entry within seven days of the round closing. A winner who does not respond within seven days of notification forfeits the prize, and we may select an alternate. For a winner under 18, the prize is released only after a parent or legal guardian confirms by email, and the code is sent to the parent or guardian.

7. Your video stays yours

You keep all rights to anything you make. By entering you give us permission to show your video, your handle and your score on Rando.gg and on our own social accounts in connection with the challenge, with credit. You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us, and it does not affect a prize you have already won.

8. Privacy

We collect only the link to your video, the platform, your handle and your email address, and we use them only to run the challenge and to contact you if you win. We do not collect postal addresses, which is why prizes are digital. See the privacy policy.

9. Platform disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube or Google. You provide your information to Rando.gg, not to those platforms. Any questions go to us, not to them.

10. Disclosure

Because entrants are competing for a prize, posts should be identified as contest entries using #contest alongside #randogg, so that viewers understand the connection.
