What this is
Rando.gg is a shuffle button over 424 free browser games. People press it, a random game loads and plays in the page, and they press it again when they are done. There is no grid to get buried in and no algorithm to game — every game in the catalogue has the same chance of coming up.
That last point is why there is no paid placement. Selling a position in a random draw would make it not a random draw, and the catalogue being curated rather than bought is the only reason anyone trusts what comes out of it.
What we accept
- HTML5 games that load inside an iframe. Any engine, any genre.
- Games that do not run advertising inside the game frame.
- Games you made, or have the right to distribute.
- Anything from a two-day jam entry upwards. Small is fine.
What gets rejected, and why
Every submission is fetched, checked for framing headers, then loaded in a real browser with a real user agent while we record every network request it makes. Three things fail:
- It will not embed. If your server sends X-Frame-Options or a frame-ancestors policy that excludes us, the browser refuses to render it and players get a blank rectangle.
- It runs ads inside the frame. Pre-roll video, interstitials between attempts, or an ad SDK phoning home. This is the most common rejection by a wide margin.
- The URL is a page, not a game. Send the URL that loads the game itself — the thing you would put in an iframe.
What you get
- Your game in the shuffle, with the same odds as everything else.
- Its own page at
rando.gg/play/your-game, crediting you and your host by name. - Players who arrived without choosing, which is a different audience from a portal grid.
Being straight about the size of it: this is a growing site, not a large one. If you are looking for tens of thousands of plays overnight, this is not that. If you want your game in front of people who will actually try it because they did not have to pick it, it is worth the two minutes.
You keep control
We embed from your server and never copy your files. Your analytics still fire, your updates go live immediately, and if you take the game down it vanishes from the catalogue. Ask us to remove it and it goes the same day — see the copyright page.
One honest caveat: an iframe src passes no link equity, so this is worth players and visibility, not SEO.
